ALI - the ASTD Leadership Institute - is the growing repository for professional and volunteer development, events, and online resources. All of these are developed and collected to support the chapter leader and enhance the job s/he does on the board. |

How do I find out if I'm a high-performing chapter leader? |

You'll want to check out the Chapter Leader Competency Model. In 2004, ASTD's Leadership Development Team embarked on an ambitious project to quantitatively and qualitatively identify the behaviors associated with being a successful chapter leader.
The model consists of four key groupings, the key competencies in each group, and the behaviors associated with each competency. You can find the model by clicking the link on the left side of the screen.
